Katie Woznicki is an associate attorney at Lewis-Traut & Ruswick, APC. Her practice includes estate and
business planning as well as trust administration.
Ms. Woznicki has several years of estate planning experience, working as a law clerk even before
becoming an associate attorney. Her compassionate disposition and counseling background allow her to
build rapport and gain clients’ confidence while strategizing to meet clients’ expressed objectives. Ms.
Woznicki especially enjoys empowering clients to protect their loved ones and secure their legacies with
personalized estate planning approaches.

Ms. Woznicki earned her Juris Doctor at Chapman University’s Dale E. Fowler School of Law, where she
was admitted as a merit scholar and awarded a full tuition scholarship. At Chapman, she was honored
with the prestigious CALI Excellence for the Future award in three courses: Practice Foundation
Transactions; Wills and Trusts; and Holocaust, Genocide, and the Law. Ms. Woznicki was selected by her
professor to serve as the Academic Fellow for the Wills and Trusts course, entrusting her with the
responsibility of leading weekly sessions for students to review course material, develop study
strategies, and practice exam taking skills.

Prior to law school, Ms. Woznicki graduated magna cum laude from California State University, Fullerton
with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, where she was a member of the University Honors
Program. After graduating from California State University, Fullerton, Ms. Woznicki worked as a
residential counselor at a mental health treatment facility, where she valued the opportunity to develop
mutual respect and trust with clients and impact their mental health recovery.
Outside of the office, Ms. Woznicki enjoys cooking, yoga, and spending time with her husband and
French bulldog, (“Zoey”).
