Jessica Ruswick is a partner at Lewis-Traut & Ruswick, APC. Her practice includes estate, business, and tax planning, as well as trust administration.
Ms. Ruswick earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Richmond School of Law, where she was awarded the prestigious full-merit John Marshall Scholarship. While at Richmond Law, Ms. Ruswick served as Manuscript Editor on the Richmond Journal of Law and Technology, the first law review in the world to be published exclusively online. Prior to law school, Ms. Ruswick earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with a minor in History, from Boston College in a mere three years. In 2021, Ms. Ruswick obtained her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from Villanova University where she excelled in her Partnership Tax, Corporate Acquisitions & Reorganizations, Charitable Gift Planning, and Wealth Tax courses.
In her practice, Ms. Ruswick enjoys creating custom-tailored solutions to help clients achieve their business, tax, and estate planning goals. She has significant experience representing high net worth clients with complex estates and is uniquely skilled in explaining complicated concepts to clients who entrust the firm with highly sensitive and important matters. Ms. Ruswick is passionate about providing her clients the highest level of legal excellence and care.
Ms. Ruswick is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, the Orange County Women Lawyers Association, and the Asian Pacific American Bar Association.
During her career, Ms. Ruswick co-authored the OC Lawyer Magazine article “Estate Planning in a Digital Age: Protecting Your Digital Assets” and has presented on a variety of estate planning topics to different professional organizations.
Outside of the office, Ms. Ruswick enjoys cooking, running/hiking, and spending time with her husband, family, and chocolate labradoodle.
