Christy Lewis, Esq. of Law & Lewis, LLP has been named as a board member of the YMCA of Orange County.  Lewis, who focuses on developing and implementing advanced planning techniques for clients with estates from $20 million to $200 million and providing business planning and corporate and partnership tax planning representation to closely held businesses, feels that it is important to give back to the community.

During her professional career, Lewis has co-authored a published article, completed extensive post-graduate coursework in Federal Taxation, appeared as a guest speaker at various financial planning and tax seminars and provided pro-bono services to clients with special needs. Lewis, who is nearing the completion of her Master of Laws in Taxation (LL.M.), earned her Juris Doctor degree from Chapman University School of Law, where she received a variety of honors, including the CALI Excellence for the Future Award, and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. In addition to her new leadership role at the YMCA, Lewis serves as a member of the Chapman University Endowment Council and the Orange County Young Executives.
